여행 준비 과정이야기 하기

[Introduction]

All the things that I do when I prepare to take a trip is pretty simple and more individualistic.

I’m a well-organized person, I want to visit as many places as possible when it comes to domestic travelling. You know, the more places I go to, the more I can explore myself!
To do so, I usually refer to  guide books for the place. When I'm in another city, I always carry a book I have picked up before hitting the road and it is just a bible for me during my entire trip that I totally rely on it.

The first thing I do is research hotels. To accumulate Marriott points, I try to book Marriott hotels whenever possible. After confirming my hotel stay, I proceed to book my flights. I compare prices and flight options to find the most convenient and cost-effective route.

 

Part of the excitement of travel is experiencing the taste of local cuisine. I research famous restaurants and local cuisine known for authentic dishes. And I choose one based on recommendations from travel blogs and reviews on the Google app

 

The best part of travel is going to hidden gems. I search for secret spots away from the places tourists usually visit. These hidden gems usually offer unforgattable experiences, you know some places only local people go to.

[Introduction]

How can I forget my first trip abroad? I wanna share with you my unforgettable episode which happened during my first trip abroad.

[Base]

I remember the trip to Europe during my college years when I was in my early twenties.

My destination was East Europe, countries like 00,00,00 you name it.!! and I focused on exploring flea markets where I could immerse myself in the daily lives of local people rather than visit famous landmarks.

During my visits to flea markets across Europe, I  discovered the unique characteristics of each country. It was enjoyable to observe the daily lives of local people instead of visiting well-known tourist attractions.

 

A highlight of my travels was experiencing the local cuisine in the flea markets.
During entire trip, I instinctively followed my sixth sense and walked into local restaurants without referring to reviews in blogs at all.

but surprisgly, all the places I went were so good, you see, mingling with local people and sharing meals with them was the cherry on the cake, it was a dash of enjoyment of the trip.
Tasting tangy local beer in each region was another charming point.

Well now, I’m no longer a student and there are many cases that I have to swallow a bitter pill, and every moment, I look back the time I had in East Europe, especially the taste of the beer I enjoyed 20 years ago makes me cheerful that I can hang in there with my ordinary life.
Well.. my first trip to Europe in my early twenties as a college student is an unforgettable chapter in my life.
