[Introduction]

Recycling is a thing I do on a regular basis at home and I’m very particular about it.
Let me share how recycling is practiced at my home.

 

[Body]

In my place, I can take them out once a week, in particular only on thursday.
To practice recycling, the first thing I do is gathering some recyclable things whenever they’re made and separating them into different categories like can to can, plastic to plastic and glass to glass. Once everything is sorted, I wash the things  with water to get rid of anything spolied and remove the stickers on plastic, glass

And the second step is taking them to a designated area.
I put each one in the designated bag.

I like doing recycling, you know, it makes feel as if I contribute to protect the global environment. Sometimes I see people not separating by the right categories, which drives me crazy. I think it’s about time for you to start recycling to save earth!

Hello, this is JESUK, calling for a building manager, I’m calling about a recycling policy. I’ve just moved into this building, and I’m not so familiar with recycling policy in this building. I was wondering if you might spare some time for me~~?

When is a designated day for recycling?
- Ah~you are saying that once a week in particular thurday. I will keep in mind the day.

Is there anything I should remember before taking out the recycling?
- alright, designated area for recycling is just beside parkinglot. I will check. thanks.

I’ve heard you are throwing away garbage in the recycling bin and I think…I’ve gotta say that,,, we are very upset about your reckless behavior, You are destroying our efforts for recycling.

-Oh, really? You don’t do such recycling in your country? I see, no wonder you’re unfamiliar with such recycling policy. Maybe, I can share how we practice recycling in this building.

First, We practice recycling once a week in particular Thursday.
and Designated area is located just beside the parking lot.
Before putting them in the designated (데지그네이티드) area, please make sure that you need to seperate recycable items into different categories such as cans to cans.. bottle to bottle. after removing all the stickers on surface.

Oh, I’m sorry.  I’m terribly sorry.  I didn’t mean to cause any problems. Well. I’m from 000, I’ve just immigrated, and I’m quite unfamiliar with such recycling policy in Korea.  Maybe I just took out most of the recyclables and garbage the next day after my housewarming party.  How careless I was……. I’m so sorry to make you upset with my reckless behavior.  

Well, if you have time, I was wondering if you could share how you practice recycling in this building?

Let me repeat what you’ve said  you are saying that you practice recycling once a week in particular Thursday.

It sounds way simpler than I though it would be, I’ll definitely give it a try~!!  I'll promise that I'm not going to throw them away such recklessly.

분리수거 시, 문제 경험

[Introduction]

It’s not long ago, just a couple of days after I moved into my current house. As far as I remember it was the 10th of July, last year.

 

[Body]

I had a housewarming party almost every day with my friends and after the party there were a lot of recyclables and garbage that I just threw them away outside home without cleaning them.

I know that I have to wash and clean them before throwing them away. but I deliberately left something spoiled and labels on surface because I was so tired of doing that stuff on that day.

 

A couple of minutes later, out of the blue,
a Security guard yelled at me that I was caught red-handed.

He looked very angry with me and he started to blame me for not doing recycling properly.
I didn't want to listen to him carefully, but I had to bear with him.

 

But apparently, after his sincere explanation, I came to realize that i was ashamed for ignoring such a rule.

Thanks to the security gaurd he gave me such a good lesson about recycling and since then Recycling has grown on me that I do on a regular basis at home and I’m very particular about it these days.

어렸을 때 재활용과 현재 재활용의 변화

These days, recycling practice has changed a lot for the better than in the past.

 

[Body]

When I was a child, recycling wasn't considered to be important at all. Most Korean people used to throw away recyclables in a regular bin as well as trash.

People did not make them clean before throwing them away.

Also, they classified the transparent PET as just plastic

On the other hand, these days, recycling has become the most important policy in Korea.

Nowadays recycling is a thing we do on a regular basis at home.

The way to practice recycling is pretty simple, let me share how I do.
First, i have to wash and clean them to get rid of something spolied and remove rable and sticker on surface before throwing them away.

Specially, It is necessary to pay extra attention to recycling transparent PET bottles because they have high value for recycling.

Recycling is something that we have to bear with (put up with) everyday life. It is true that recycling’s irritating but it has to be done to protect the environment.
